Hotel Waldsee is the perfect place to get away from it all. Located close to Germany’s moorland lake in the most elevated position, the hotel offers you a nice view of the lake among the isolated nature protected area of the Allgeau. During the summer you can go out for a long walk, swim in the lake or spend a romantic night on our terrace facing the lake.

The hotel provides single and double rooms equipped with bathtub or shower, toilet, cable TV, telephone and partially with balcony. Here you can also find the Bacalau restaurant, a terrace and a cafe. We offer you our premises for smaller celebrations and conferences for up to 65 people (for conferences up to 30 people).

Whether you would like to enjoy an active holiday or simply switch off, the border triangle offers you plenty of possibilities for recreation. My stay at the hotel was perfect! The staff is absolutely wonderful, willing to help out or give ideas on sights to see and just always so courteous! The hotel is located in an absolutely beautiful scene. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed to enjoy a most comfortable stay. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Waldsee!

Only stayed one night unfortunately, would have been happy to stay a lot longer. Comfy beds, good bathroom, fabulous views especially early morning watching ducks and a few mad swimmers in the lake. Fantastic breakfast - best we've ever had. Overall a pleasant and tranquil experience. P.S. The breakfast room would be perfect for a small wedding reception. Would have liked the use of a laptop.

Magnificent, quiet lakeside setting. Beautiful dining rooms. Buffet breakfast with a good selection of fruit juice, bread, pastries, jam, yoghurt, eggs, cold meat, cheese, tea and coffee. Our car broke down and the owners, who speak excellent English, were extremely helpful and contacted a local garage to carry out repairs. Bedrooms are very small, storage space is limited and furniture is antiquated. Showerroom is also dated but perfectly clean and functional.

A delightful hotel in a super lake-side location. Ideal for walkers etc as there are lots of woodlands around the hotel. Restaurant is exceptionally good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back Bathroom has everything you could want but was quite small. Pefect for our overnight stop (or maybe 2 nights) Not sure there is enough to warrant a longer stay
