Hotel Bayerischer Hof also offers its guests excellent cuisine. Our chef only uses fresh ingredients of the region to prepare outstanding venison dishes and many other culinary highlights. The hotel is the ideal starting point for a variety of excursions and trips, e.g. visits to Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein or the close-by Upper Allgäu or the Kleinwalsertal valley. In the winter, the guest has a large choice of winter sport activities such as ice skating on the ice rink right next to the hotel or skiing, as there are several slopes served by a large number of lifts and mountain railways. |
The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful (most were multilingual). The hotel was located very near to a nice lake with lots of trails for walking or biking. The food in the restaurant was very good.
Being on a main street means the hotel is easy to find, but also rather noisy. The hotel is not quite as updated as it looks in the pictures on the website, and combined with the noise seems just a bit overpriced (though not so much as to deter a recommendation).
