Business hours of reception: from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Hotel zur Igelstadt is set in a beautiful location right in the small town of Lichtenfels-Fürstenberg, close to the Edersee Lake and Waldeck Palace. The county seat Korbach with its historic Old Town, the local history museum, the prehistoric Korbach Rift and various other places of interest is close-by. The bedrooms are cosy, with all modern conveniences, including a shower and WC, telephone and minibar. Some also feature a balcony. All rooms are accessible by lift. Our restaurant offers a wide and varied range of dishes in a cosy atmosphere. Our hotel has a bowling alley and we offer courses in Nordic walking. You will also find plenty of opportunities for swimming and water sports at the Edersee Lake, as well as a toboggan run and a game reserve. |
The food in the restaurant was good.
The rooms had cracks in the walls and the ceilings in the hallway was pure concrete, no wallpaper or paint. It looked a bit like under construction.
