Not far away and easy to reach are the cities Heidelberg, Mainz and Speyer which are also very interesting to look at. The airports of Frankfurt, 45 minutes and Hahn 1.30 hours are easy to reach and make our hotel a very interesting alternative to the much more expensive hotels in Frankfurt or Heidelberg. Interesting sights are the one thousand year old cathedral, the synagogue, the Raschihouse and the Jewish cemetery which is thousand years old and the oldest in Europe. Altogether we can provide you 21 rooms with 38 beds and all of them are equipped comfortable and lovely. All of our rooms do have a modern bathroom, cable TV and telephone. The restaurant “die Ritterstube” is decorated in the style of the “Nibelungensaga”, the oldest German saga which is comparable with the King Arthur’s saga. The two Tiffany-windows show scenes of this saga, one of them showing the hero killing a dragon, the other one shows his enemy Hagen with two women that forecast the future for him. Each window consists of 1200 single glaspieces and it took four years to make them. For your events we can provide you our conference room which is equipped with modern convention technology. Our conference room has space to accommodate up to 50 persons where meals can be easily provided. Please consider that all the hotels rooms are non-smoking. |
