The Queens Hotel has enjoyed a perfect location in the centre of picturesque Keswick, in the heart of the English Lake District, since being rebuilt in 1826. We have built our reputation on providing luxurious guest rooms with a friendly, relaxing service at sensible rates to suit all budgets. We have 35 en-suite guest bedrooms here at the Queens, with a variety of room styles and sizes reflecting the history of the hotel. Some have superb views of the Lakeland Fells, Skiddaw and Borrowdale. Besides, all our guest rooms are comfortable and well appointed, each with television and tea and coffee making facilities. The recently renovated public bar overlooking Keswick Market Place and the famous Moot Hall, serves morning coffee, a fine range of local Lakeland beers, wines, spirits and bar meals in quiet comfortable surroundings and with a cosy real log fire. We also have a second livelier bar at the rear of the hotel, the Queens Head, set well back from the main building and providing a contemporary atmosphere with comfy leather chairs and a large plasma screen television. |
