The beautiful Schlosshotel Wilhelmshöhe is located in the western part of Kassel at the foot of the Hercules Monument, the landmark of the city. It enjoys a calm location and is surrounded by Europe´s largest mountain park.

Friendly and efficient service, very good food. The spacious rooms in the "Remise" have no curtains. there is no lift to get to the upper floor with baggage. Some outside walls would need a bit of touch-up work.

This was our second stay here having night-stopped 2 years ago. The hotel remains very comfortable; conveniently located and operates to a friendly and high standard. The franchise holder for WiFi is rather over-priced and the on-line instructions do not make it clear that you will lose access time you have paid for if you do not specifically log-off. Other systems manage to note when you go off-line and this could be improved upon here.
