It was a lovely hotel, lovely staff who waited for us despite our late arrival, great breakfast to start the day and at all an amazing price, lovely big garden to get some air and smoking rooms available so you don't have to go outside if you don't fancy it..we'll be going back for sure next time we're in the area!

room was very clean and very quiet, except for noise from party on 1st floor. staff very helpful when asked. beautiful view from room. i will stay again if in Karlstein. Hotel is adequate and appears to be only hotel in Karlstein. breakfast room is dark and breakfast is below standard to german hotels.
