The hotel was quite good - very clean, basic, with a nice balcony with a view. The people that worked there were very nice, though didn't offer a lot of information to us. The pools were great too. They had a nice spa downstairs, but we didn't end up using it, so can't elaborate.
The TV didn't work for 2 out of 3 days, and though I told, they seemed to think I just didn't know how to operate it. That said, when someone came up to the room and determined that it was broken, he moved heaven and earth to find us a new TV - we were really impressed. The A/C was good during the day, but it was turned down at night, and it made for fitful sleep. It was just too hot not to have A/C. We're from NY and are used to hot weather too.
Lastly, there is just not much info on how to get to the hotel - the taxis outside the ferry station are a RIPOFF - 15 euros for a 2 minute ride. The hotel should either have a shuttle, or negotiate prices for getting there and back. With the lousy dollar, that is $25 cab ride! It just doesn't start the trip off on a good note. |
