Historic, interesting and good central position. Reception staff were wonderful, I would score them 10/10.
Room badley soundproofed and from the smell was obviously a room that had previously been used by a smoker (it also contained an ashtray). This was surprising as not only had a no smoking room been requested but it was understood that it is illegal to smoke in a Hotel room in Scotland. We did buy an air freshener to improve the smell but this had little effect.){kind=link}
