The old Borgo Inalbi is composed of a group of ancient country houses which have been renovated with full respect for age-old Tuscan achitectural traditions, mainteining the visible ceiling beams and baked tile floors, while the furnishings elegantly mirror the traditional style. Central heating ensures that you stay is pleasurable even in the colder months of the year. Inalbi name derive from latin 'in albis' that mean in white. Thats named the second sunday after Easter. In the past, in this area was situated an old chapel for a special religious ceremony, on In Albis sunday. Dining: Our restaurant will serve you genuine and simple dishes of tuscan cooking tradition. Youll find here a cozy and familiar atmosphere, thats why we named the restaurant: 'THE FARMERS '. BY CAR From Florence. Following signs SIENA, A1 Motorway, FIRENZE CERTOSA. Autostrada (Motorway) A1 exit Firenze-Certosa. Superstrada (Speedway) Siena-Firenze exit Firenze. Continue towards Tavarnuzze, then on to Impruneta. Cross the village then continue for a furter 1 Km, turning left into via delle Terre Bianche and following signs. BY TRAIN From S.Maria Novella railway station, go to the coach station nearby called CAP, to Impruneta. When in Impruneta, take a taxi. BY PLANE From the Florence Airport, we suggest to rent a car or take a taxi, otherwise take the bus (ATAF) to the S. Maria Novella central train station and then take a coach from the coach station called CAP to Impruneta. When in Impruneta, take a taxi. |
