The Romantik Berg & Jaghotel Gabelbach is located in the middle of the Thuringian Woods in the Rennsteig Region and surrounded by an extensive park with a fitness path. The hotel is about 3 km away from the motorway A 71 and from the station in Ilmenau. The airport of Erfurt is located in 40 km distance.

Our hotel has 91 comfortable rooms, all of them equipped with shower, toilet, hair-dryer, TV, phone and radio.

In the à la carte restaurant of the hotel you can enjoy regional and international dishes. The restaurant with winter-garden and a terrace is the perfect place for a copious breakfast, a light lunch or coffee and cake in the afternoon. We would also like to mention the gourmet restaurant La Cheminée which is one of the best restaurants in Thuringia.

Our 6 conference and banquet rooms have sufficient capacity for up to 130 people and are perfectly suitable for your meetings. All of these rooms have natural daylight and include modern communication technologies.
