Hotel Description:
The Hilton University of Houston Hotel and Conference Center is the teaching hotel for the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. It allows students at the world-renown hospitality school to gain hands-on experience in guest service and hotel operations. Though not affiliated with Hilton Hotels the students and professional staff seek to uphold the same high standards of guest satisfaction. Located on the University of Houston campus the Hilton University of Houston Hotel is only three miles from downtown Houston and 10 minutes from William P. Hobby Airport. The 86 rooms feature wireless Internet two-line telephones and voicemail. Dining options abound from the casual American bistro fare at Eric*s Restaurant inside the hotel to the many quick-serve eateries at the nearby University Center and the UH Welcome Center which include Chili*s Too and McAlister*s Deli. Our guests can also take advantage of the nearby Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Completed in the spring of 2003 the Wellness Center offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment athletic courts an Olympics-caliber natatorium a climbing wall and a full spa. The campus itself is brimming with art and cultural events allowing hotel guests to enjoy theater productions classical and contemporary music concerts complimentary guest lectures by world famous visiting speakers and the award-winning Blaffer Gallery. the Hilton.
