The guesthouse Lamm dates back to the year 1732 and was already then well-known for its hospitality and good cuisine. In 1982, after rebuilding and modernisation, the building was converted into the MD Hotel Zum Lamm, with adjoining large underground parking. Liked having access to the indoor pool - unique for us in this area.
We had a late check-in and had advise the hotel in advance of it. We didn't hear anything back so assumed we were good. We were surprised to find the hotel "in the dark" with no one at reception. We eventually found a note (written in German, we wrote to them in English) with our keys on the stairs so we did get into our room. However, we had some very anxious moments thinking we had no where to stay with 2 adults and 2 young children, at about 9:30pm.
