Our lovingly restored half-timbered Historik Hotel Ochsen is located in the traffic-calmed area of the historic centre of Tamm, only a few minutes by car or commuter train from Ludwigsburg, 15 km from the centre of Stuttgart and about 30 minutes by car from the New Trade Fair Centre Stuttgart. All 17 rooms in our family-run three-star hotel are beautiful and conveniently equipped, but even more important is the warm atmosphere at our house. The rooms provide a minibar, internet access (partly WLAN), shower and bathtub as well as a toilet, cable TV and a direct dial telephone. We are affiliated to the associations Historik Hotels and Small Elegant Hotels and belong to the 500 best hotels of our category in entire Germany ("Member of Germany's Top 500") since 2007. Our restaurant is one of the 7 best-rated restaurants in the district of Ludwigsburg and therefore one of the 1000 best-rated restaurants in Germany. Our kitchen team lovingly prepares artfully composed dishes. Our chef Lars Gütter attaches great importance to the quality of the processed ingredients. We are a member of the initiative "Schmeck den Süden" (Taste the South) and serve an haute cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences ranging from solid-hearty to noble-refined. A good meal of course also needs the right frame which might be our patio, planted in Mediterranean style. As soon as the first sunbeams appear, it feels like being in Northern Italy. In our restaurant with a room called Ochsenstube you feel at ease throughout the whole year. The wooden walls and the warm and discreet light create a homely atmosphere. Wine-tastings, functions and events take place in the historical vaulted cellar. |
