Built in 1784 to 1787, the castle of Stonsdorf is located on top of the Lomnitz Hill within the Hirschberg Valley. The beautiful landscaped park area makes the castle one of the most impressive manors of this region. Pertinent to the castle, the park and its surrounding forests are of 194 sqm. Within the park, you will find artificial castle ruins dating back to the 19th century, an artificial grotto, rocks and ample clearings as well as magnificent viewpoints offering a great panorama view of the mountains and the valley. All this add to the fact that the park is one of the most popular destinations for locals and tourists.
