| Privately-owned by the same family since 1900, the Parkhotel Adler is an exclusive hideaway situated in the southern end of the Black Forest with its own park. Hinterzarten is a resort renowned for its climate. All guest rooms and suites are decorated to the highest standards and are full of old-world charm. The hotel has three buildings: the Schwarzwaldhaus built in the 15th century, the main building built in 1890, and the Residence, which has suites and junior suites, built in 1978.
The hotel has three restaurants offering local, international and special healthy cuisine. The main restaurant boasts a famous wine cellar featuring a superb selection of regional and international wines.

Super friendly, helpful, and courteous staff .. and they would not take tips. It was nice to be at a location where service was excellent, but you did not feel as though they were always dipping into your pocket for more cash. Breakfast was EXCELLENT. Ms Smidtt made excellent omelets. However, EVERYONE on the staff of this hotel was super nice, friendly, and efficient! Free valet parking was one of many nice things the staff did for us every day. Outside dining was wonderful.
