near to altstadt center, and restaurants. Friendly staff, clean and warm room also clean bathroom.
No carpark near to hotel, we should park in public parking far (20 min walk). in very cold winter it is not very nice to walk.

The staff has been extraordinary!! We arrived exhausted and stressed and they helped us last nite, and held our breakfast for us this a.m. so we could sleep!! The room is charming with fabulous views! Sorry we are not staying longer!!!

the staff were friendly and helpfull, the room decor well presented, the location excellent. This is an excellent hotel which we would recommend but would suggest a room not the suite.
We only have one negative comment:The concept of suite was not clear.I shall explain.We choose the "suite" for more space but found the sloping ceilings (though novel)a hazard and gave a very crampt feeling. We were unaware suite meant kitchen, something we didnt need or use. This information needs to be made clear. We would have choosen our room differently knowing this. |

Very nice and competent staff. Marlene (Reception) was always very helpful. Very nice quite hotel and very clean. The free internet access is a plus!!

Staff were extreamly friendly and helpfull. Rooms were excellent, modern amd clean. Excellent location for walking and easy access to castle and center.
Because there is no air conditioning rooms at front of hotel can be noisy due to traffic and the need to have the windows open. Breakfast could have a little more options to it. Though there was always plenty to eat. |

Nice and clean hotel, same applies for the rooms.
Descriptions says that there is no breakfast served, but actually there is a very good breakfast in the basement.
Normal rooms are more sober than shown on the pictures. |

The room we had was very lovely and bright with a fantastic view of the Neckar and Philosopher's walk hillside.
It is unfortunate that to have the lovely view on the Neckar side of the hotel, you also have to suffer the traffic noise but I realise this is not a problem the hotel can do anything about although perhaps the windows could have been triple glazed to help with this. Breakfast was very perfunctory and not really worth 10 Euros. |

The hotel staff is excellent, and the location in the old part of Heidelberg is great for easy access to restaurants and cafes.
The overall stay was quite enjoyable.
Hotel is staffed only until about 7:00 pm. Must use a public parking lot if you have a car (12.50 EUR per day). |

Excellent staff service, very willing to help. Fantastic location (situated right next to the old town, easy access to main historical sites). Facing the river (I got two rooms with river views). Very cheap given the location and quality of the rooms
