Very comfortable; excellent breakfast

Some noise is unavoidable because of the Hotel's position. |

Very friendly, family run hotel, close to the centre of Heidelberg using the local tram network. Very clean and well maintained.

Trams start at 05:30 and run to 01:00 and are noisy if your room is at the front of the hotel. |

Great hotel for the price. It's right in front of the tram into the old town, which only takes 7-8 minutes. Clean rooms, adequate size, new bathrooms, excellent breakfast. Also had free wine in the evening. It's a nice average German hotel with alot of history and we had no complaints whatsoever!

The room and ensuite were very clean and adequate, breakfast was excellent

In high summer the room was too hot and stuffy even with the ceiling fan operating and traffic noise was too loud to have the window open |

The staff was wonderful and the rooms were comfortable. Certainly not a chain hotel but a very nice boutique type setting.

Parking is very difficult given the small lot and the large vehicle I had. Shouldn't be too much of an issue if you have a small rental car and not a Jeep Grand Cherokee like I did. |

Quiet and comfortable, perfect for a fit person who comes for a visit at the EMBL/EMBO (a nice 25-minutes walk uphill wiil take you there). Good breakfast, polite English-speaking staff, very reasonable pricing.

Some rooms very noisy when the window is open, starting from 6 in the morning, when the first cars start passing by. |

The hotel and owner are very friendly and able to assist you in finding your way around the Heidelburg. So good we stayed an additional night.
