Grand sweeping views of the town of Heidelberg and the countryside below.
Ornate grand dining-room / ball-room.
Rooms small and unexceptional, but comfortable, clean and some have a great view of the mountains and Heidelberg below.
Staff is friendly.
Dinner was excellent; breakfast was good too.

Inconvenient to walking around Heidelberg, as it is far up the hill above the town and a taxi/car is required.
Reception closes at 10pm, so you must enter through a side door. |

A very quiet hotel, but can be noisy if a party is organised.
Nice view on Heidelberg.
An "old fashion" hotel, far from international standard. That can be appreciated or not.

Very difficult to find the hotel with a private car.
Far from downtown. |

The view from the hotel is stuning and the staff was helpful. Food was relatively expensive but tasted good.

The bathroom smelt awefull. A two bedroom room had only one chair. There are no hair dryers. There is no computer available for quests. hardly info available about Heidelberg. Can't see this a a three star hotel. |

Very nice view

1. There were no night shift at the reservation while arrived at the hotel on 10.06.2008 at 1:00 am at night, altough we explicitely called them to
tell, that we will arrive late at night.
The hotel was closed.
We had to call with OUR cell phones a telephone number to get the keys to be able to get inside the hotel.
2. There was only one room booked for two persons, altough we had a confirmation from the reservation from TWO rooms. We had to telephone
several times to get a second room. It was 2:00 am in the night of 10.06.2008.
3. Morning the hotel called a shuttle for us to be able to get to SAP Walldorf, but no taxi check
was given to us by the hotel.
4. We could never speak to the hotel's prioress, because she was never there. We expected to meet the responsible person to discuss our complaints. |

Dining room manager very helpful-assisted in cancelling 1 day, as I became ill because of the weather

(1) very difficult to locate (2) had difficult time locating someone to handle check-in, and when located, could not communicate-did not speak English (3) could be off-season that caused these problems |
