The hotel description was rather vague. However, the location was good and the experience was pleasant.

The facility was clean and the personnel friendly.

This was a business trip. I had no access to the internet, even though ad indicates connection is available in room; ROOM FEATURES; internet connection.
The Introduction book in the room even stated that WIFI was available. I came to find out that 'available' means 'for a fee'.
In this same book, it states that the pool and spa are open till midnight, but not so; only 22:00 uhr. |

We did arrive ahead of schedule and the staff did clean the room immediatly for us.

Very comfotable hotel

Parking is expensive but worse it was hard to find a empty slot in the hotels parking garage. If I stay again I'll park in a public lot. The busniness center doesn't have a policy on length of use of PC so getting on one to check e-mail was difficult. |

There was a bad curry smell in the whole hotel, especially on second floor, where I was staying. This was horrible. |

The welcome from the staff was superb (probably down to one staff member in particular - great with children). The room was of very good quality.

Staff very friendly

Restaurant was closed the entire stay for no reason, other than business was slow. I specifically selected this hotel because of the American cuisine. The price per noight skyrocketed on the last 2 nights for a formula one race in Heidelberg. There should be an SAP guaranteed rate. |

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioner was broken for the first 3 nights so it was very uncomfortable. The internet connection also did not work in my room but they were able to change my room. Once the air was fixed , it was a very comfortable room. |

Air conditioning was broke during a hot and humid spell making it difficult to sleep (sorry, I am not German)
The staff is pleasant, but their business practices are not always friendly. For example, they do not tell you that there are two levels of breakfast: full and continental (not hot). They only present you with the 18 euro package, and unless you know to ask, you end up paying way too much.
This same practice can be seen when they ask about the club room. |
