 The elevater was broken (We were stayed at 3rd floor). The Garage was too small to park. The staff scratched my car. No air conditioner was avalable (it was hot in the evening and night).
we could not sleep during the night because of high tempreture in the room and the noise of the trafic in front of the hotel(the hotel provided us earplugs but those did not effective to shut the noise of out side). |

Situated right at the borders of Alster-lake - great food and drinks can be found here, and amazing views. I used a public parking space nearby (I was lucky), these are free during week-ends. The hotel is not expensive considering the high level of room-prices in Hamburg in general.
Cleanliness - as mentioned by many - leaves something to be desired. Superficially OK, but don't look for dirt because you'll find it. Rooms are badly isolated; for once I was lucky to have empty rooms surrounding me. The obnoxious radio at breakfast made me finish my early-day meal early. No public transport nearby and getting there by car is a nightmare; Hamburg is all about one-way streets and "no turning left/right". The latter can't be blamed on the hotel though. |

Very friendly staff
Rooms overlooking the Alster are very noisy because of heavy traffic - that's why the management puts a pair of earplugs next to each bed. After I complained I got another room on the other side of the hotel for the second night, and that one was excellent. |

Nice hotel with friendly staff.
I don't think that there are sea views fronm the hotel, not at least from the main building since between the hotel and Alster there are block houses. |

Very welcoming staff. Rooms in new built at the back of the building are very well kept, modern and comfortable for the price.
Reception area of the hotel (old house in the photos) is in real need of redecoration. |

| We were promised a room for smokers. On arrival there was no such room available.
The bathroom was equipped with a shower in a bathtub, and the hight to the ceiling was so low, that one of us couldn't take a shower standing up. |

The hotel is located at the lake side and has a very nice view. Room was tidy and clean for the price I paid.

This Hotel inside is very good and nice in reception
there is a tv but limited in satlite channel.
