 Very friendly couple running the hotel. The train pass was very useful as the parking at the train station in Denslingen was free and so was the train with the complimentary pass and it took you right to the city center in Freiburg in about 15 minutes.
 Noise was horrible. Could hear conversations through the wall. |

Staff very pleasant and helpful. English spoken very well by staff. Room clean, nicely presented, ample size. Ample breakfast, simple fare, well presented. Free use of rail and bus a huge bonus.

I had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull.
The only negative was the lack of English channels (CNN or BBC) in the television. For someone like me who does not speak German, the television was useless. I did mention this to the staff. Otherwise, this is a great hotel. |

free wifi in the room; they gave us a card which allowed us to travel in the Schawarzwald region for free (on trains and busses) during our stay; nice restaurants nearby.
