The Ghent River Hotel is located on the Right Bank of the Leie, which was the border of Gent between the 11th and 15th century. Due to the landing stage, the Ghent River Hotel is the only one that can be reached by boat. The hotels premises have 2 buildings: a renaissance house (1518) and a rice-mill built in 1857 on the foundation wall of a sugar refinery.
