Very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and helpful.

No negative comments other than the weather! |

Staff person at reception was very friendly and helpful, we arrived late for getting to the football game (during EURO 2008), got checked-in very quickly and received detailled instructions on how to get to the ground by public transport.
Price-performance ratio is brilliant.

Variety of breakfast offerings could be improved, price slightly too high (12 € per person). |

(1) Good standard of rooms. Well equipped.
(2) Very convenient access to the tram to take one into the centre of Geneva.

(1) There were several mornings when the hotel staff could not keep up with the requirements of breakfast (restocking food, clearing tables): too few staff.
(2) My room was at the front: the road is very noisy. |

Cheap.

Kept my passport, so I travelled off without it. Fortunately I have a second one. Competence of staff will depend upon whether I get it back to UK as promised. |

It is quite large and is not too inconvenient to Geneva

There is hardly any furniture in the place. There is a kitchen but no corkscrew, no towels for washing dishes. |

The hotel is on Geneva's main street (going on this street from the hotel brings you to the center, which is nice since to me its difficult to find my way in Geneva). When the reception is there, they are really friendly and helpful. In general, the room is nice.

There is no reception at late evening! No one to talk to if you have a problem with your room (especially if you're checking in late). The blanket is really thin, completely not suited for winter. No extra blankets or pillows. The bath was not so clean.
Late when there is no reception, the hotel door is locked. In order to come in, you need the code. So you need to call some security center for the code and for instructions how to get the key (resembles a treasure hunt). If you don't have a cellphone, you're locked out...
Note that the house numbers on the street start again when you cross the border to France. So there is exactly the same address on the Swiss side, but the hotel is not there... |
