Really surprised to find this hotel situated in a lovely spot overlooking a park.
Staff were very helpful almost without exception and the owner is multilingual in German, English and Italian.
The restaurant at night we can also recommend, food was very good.
Would definitely stay here again

We had planned to stay only three nights at Ruchti's but it was located in such a pleasant little town and the Hotel was clean, low key, and very comfortable, we ended up staying an additional 3 nights. Nice place to relax.
 Smoke from other people smoking either on their porches or somewhere else often drifted into the room through the open window. |

The staff at this hotel were extremely accommodating. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well ventilated. The view was breathtaking. The meals were of excellent quality, carefully prepared, and well presented. This is by far the most friendly hotel where my wife and I stayed in Germany. We ended up staying several extra nights because we liked it.
Directions to the hotel were vague - it is situated on a road traveled by pedestrians accessed by a blind curve between two cliffs. The pictures do NOT do the establishment justice. |
