Since we where both delayed by late arrival of the airplane, heavy traffic on the way and problems finding the hotel at all we arrived after 1 am in the morning. We called the hotel in advance to tell them and the woman receiving us was very nice to us despite being at least 2 hours late.
The address stated 99894 Freidrichroda is actually 6km away from where the hotel actually is. The hotel is in Finterbergen and the address should then be given as "Finterbergen (near Freidrichroda)" or in similar formulation. As there actually is a "Hauptstrasse 30" also in Freidrichroda we used over 20 min in Freidrichroda looking for the hotel before we found anyone that could tell us we where 6km off where we should have been and then 10 min driving to the place that we actually should have gone in the first place.
