Business hours of reception: from 07:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Hotel Hohenried im Rosengarten is located in Freudenstadt, some 60 km south-west of Stuttgart on a high plateau in the outskirts of the Northern Black Forest. Freudenstadt is known as the town in the most elevated position in Germany and as a traditional tourist destination. Our property enjoys a quiet and yet central setting. The modern rooms provide the exclusive amenities that today’s discerning guests would expect. Non-smoking rooms are also available. Our copious breakfast buffet gives you a nice start to the day. In the restaurant we spoil you with regional and international specialties. Savour your favourite drink in the bar at the end of a nice day. As this was a family run hotel on a smaller scale than the other we stayed at, it was a lot more relaxed and friendly.
The room was very good and had a lovely view and there was also plenty to do in Freudenstadt itself which is only a short walk away.
They didn't do any evening meals themselves, but the restaurants in the town were excellent and more than made up for it.
