The Hotel Rappen is a three-star hotel decorated in traditional Black Forest style. It is situated in the centre of the town of Freiburg. The sunny side of the cobbled Cathedral Square lies right infront of our hotel and is the perfect place to sit during the summer months. Here you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of Freiburg up close.

The 15 guest rooms come with en-suite facilities with bathtub or shower, television, telephone and internet access. Some of the rooms have been designed with guests with allergies in mind.

Our restaurant will receive you with hospitality typical of the Baden region, and serves cuisine known throughout the town. Traditional dishes and select wines are served in the 3 dining rooms.

The windows that overlook the Münsterplatz (square) offer one of the nicest views in Freiburg. Freiburg’s other traditional buildings can be found in the hotel’s immediate vicinity. These include the historical marketplace, the Kornhaus building and the Münsterbauhütte.
