The Gasthof zum Fürstenthal is situated in the probably best
known district of Frauenstein, namely Kleinbobritzsch. This is the birth place
of the famous master organ builder Gottfried Silbermann. The museum in the
castle of Frauenstein dignifies the works of the Honorary Court and State Organ
Builder to the King of Poland and Duke of Saxony. The for our region typical
Waldhufendörfer (a special kind of settlement) are as well worth a trip.
Our comfortable and cosy 28 rooms as well as the idyllic
surroundings and the laid-back atmosphere invite you to relax and linger. We
offer single, double and triple bedrooms. They are all equipped with a bathroom
with shower and toilet, a TV and a clock radio.
Our restaurant serves a variety of specialities from Saxony and the Ore
Mountains to up to 40 guests at the same time. Our idyllic beer garden cheers
hikers and fresh air lovers from spring on.
Parties and other celebrations can as well take place in our
premises. We organise events for up to 100 persons following your wishes and
ideas. It might be a wedding-eve party, a birthday party or a special company
event – we will be at your side. |

Hotel Goldener Stern is a traditional family-run hotel amidst the town centre of Frauenstein. The town is set at the Osterzgebirge (the eastern part of the Ore Mountains), in the Natural Park Erzgebirge/Vogtland, 20 km south-east from Freiberg and 50 km south-west from Dresden.

In the summer we recommend you to take a seat on our sunny terrace with shadowy seats. Here you can contemplate the wonderful Frankenstein town. Historic sights as well as eventful and relaxing wandering tours attract numerous interested tourists and friends of sport and culture to our region. |

After the formalities have been dealt with at the reception, we will show you one of our 15 rooms (all no smoking), all of which do, of course, have shower/WC, writing desk, telephone, TV and mini bar (incl.).
