| This small jewel has been created for those who still nowadays wish to experience the style and prestige of an ancient and historical aristocratic palace, only a few metres away from Brunelleschis Dome, and to enjoy maximum comfort in an exclusive environment, evoking the atmosphere of a private residence. Its origins date back to the 14th century. The great sculptor Donatello (1386-1466) had his workshop here. Ancient house with the uniqueness of a private aristocratic residence, is offering hospitality in few, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. The Mansion is located all at 2nd floor, there is a lift. The Palazzo was originally built by the Naldinis, an important family of Florentine merchants and bankers. It remained in the Naldini family until 1891, when the last descendant, Cristina, married Marchese Eugenio Niccolini di Camugliano and brought into this family as part of her dowry. The present owners, Filippo and Ginevra Niccolini di Camugliano, personally supervised the renovation works and oversee the residence in all details, in order to ensure that guests be offered a top quality treatment, comparable to that of a luxury hotel. Recently, the residence was completely renovated without altering its features and maintaining the fascination of its past history. Rooms are large, have high painted ceilings, frescoed walls and are elegantly decorated. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, fitted in marble. The whole residence is air-conditioned. The reception is open everyday from 7,30 AM to 8.00 PM. It is necessary to advise the hotel by telephone, fax or email if arrival is foreseen after 08.00 PM. |

By plane: Florence airport at 6 km. There are special buses from the airport to the town center or taxis (more or less 15 euro). By car, exit the toll road at Firenze Sud and head towards the town center and more precisely towards the Duomo. By train, get down at Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and walk to the Duomo (10 minutes walk) or take a taxi. |
