The Universo Hotel is a 15th century building completely refurbished during 2007 and 2008 and offers 41 nice rooms that are all different with some having a splendid view over the square and church. The hotel is located in the heart of Florence in Piazza Santa Maria Novella; just 3 minutes walking distance from the main rail station and a few steps away from the most important attractions including museums; shopping streets; business and congress centre and the exhibition centre. All rooms have bathroom with shower; hairdryer; Satellite television; telephone; air conditioning; heating and a desk. The hotel does not have a private car park however it works with some garages that offer guests a valet service at the daily rate of 32EUR per car. Additional Information; Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 3-10 receive a 50pct reduction.
