From the Airport Amerigo Vespucci the center of Florence can be reached by taxi in about 15 minutes. Bus service is available through Sita-Ataf 'Volainbus' connecting the airport to the central train station (approx. 25 minutes) and runs approximately every half hour for most of the day. To use the Volainbus you need to buy the ticket either at the newsstand at the airport or on board the bus from the driver. For information, toll free ATAF 800 424 500 and SITA 800 373760. S.M.
