Built by Baron Rosenberg in 1187, the castle accommodated many famous people throughout the centuries, such as Napoleon Bonaparte and the former Princess of Tyrol, Margarethe Maultasch. The castle was remodeled into a hotel in 1938, however, we placed great value upon preserving its old charm. Guests are welcome to explore the castle and get to know something about its interesting history. They are offered modern hotel comfort. The establishment includes a bar, a lounge, a TV room, a lift and a garage with 110 parking spaces. Guests can relax on the castle’s big and sunny terraces, in the garden or under the romantic pergola of the cocktail bar. The kitchen staff spoils you with international specialties, regional treats and vegetarian delectabilities. Moreover, there is the Dos Piranhas restaurant serving Mexican food and being a cocktail bar at the same time. Guests are furthermore offered an indoor pool, solarium, massages, a jacuzzi tub and table tennis facilities. Special mudbaths help you to feel completely healthy and comfortable.
