The hotel is quietly embedded in a wooded area offering a plethora of hiking and cycling possibilities. It is also close to some exceptional sights. You are surrounded by the snug ambiance of our cosy rooms both in summer and winter. Room amenities include en-suite facilities and in some cases balcony and TV. Our themed rooms allow guests to live in historic settings. The hotel features a function hall for 60 people, a café with a historical exhibition featuring the region and offering space for 40 people, sauna, sea salt grotto and beer garden with café amidst the greenery. In summer, our cool and shadowy terrace is the ideal spot to relax and have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. Hospitality has always been of great importance in the old country of the Cherusci. As rumour has it, some of our recipes go back to Thusnelda, the wife of Arminius, a chieftain of the Cherusci.
