The hotel “Stadt Emmerich” is centrally located close to the river Rhine and the main station and is therefore easily reachable.

We provide 40 comfortable, calm single and double rooms which are well-appointed with bathroom with shower and WC, satellite TV, telephone and partly with balcony. After a good night´s sleep, you can enjoy our rich breakfast buffet. Furthermore, we offer a sun bathing area, several parking places and garages for your car and bicycles in our court.

In our cosy and very individually run restaurant, you can enjoy international and Croatian specialities, a menu with seasonal dishes, special buffets, excellent drinks and a variety of good wines. The restaurant is daily opened from 11:30 a.m until 15:00 p.m. and from 17:30 p.m. until midnight. We also offer a beer garden which invites for convivial get-together

In the close proximity of our hotel, you will find a variety of sights like the historic town of Xanten, the moated castle "Wasserschloß -Heerenberg" (NL), the castles "Schwanenburg Kleve" and "Schloß Moyland", the romantic church "Stiftskirche Eltenberg" or the beautiful zoo in Arnhem (NL). The region of “Niederhein” is famous for its great biking facilities which are very close to our hotel. A bike rental is in the proximity of the hotel.
