    guest rating (travelling as a couple, private, 31-40 years)  (8,1 of 10) 
      Rang hotel prior to stay and member of staff was very friendly and helpful, once we arrived all staff we came into contact with were equally good. All areas of hotel were extremely clean and well furnished, the Scotty dog in the room was a lovely touch!

      Only negative was outside the hotel's control - building work directly opposite and as windows were not double glazed this was annoying on a morning (they even worked Sunday morning!)
