Channings in Edinburgh is an informal, relaxed hotel with a very friendly approach. It occupies five Edwardian townhouses in Stockbridge, one of Edinburgh's most popular 'urban villages'.
To suit its location slightly away from the city centre, Channings is a wonderfully quirky property which feels a bit like a Scottish country home.

There are 41 hotel rooms at Channings in all - no two are quite the same, in either layout or decor.

Channings has a small, quiet garden and sun deck- a delightful retreat from the city centre, particularly if you are in Edinburgh during Festival season in the summer. We do bar meals outside (or in); or you can choose to use our slightly more formal, cosy restaurant, if you feel like dressing up a bit.
