Uniquely located in the heart of the beautiful foothills of the Kanton Zurich with Mount Bachtel as its local landmark in the background the 3 star Landhaus Sonne is ideally positioned for business people as well as for the sports and the connoisseur of culinary delights. The friendly atmosphere of our rooms and the personal attention and service available are the ideal framework for any type of function or seminar. All rooms include air conditioning; desk; TV; safe; a small fridge; bathroom with bath or shower; hairdryer and free WiFi internet. The country house hotel has had a new owner since the beginning of 2009 with the bar and lobby already been rebuilt. The restaurant was renovated in April 2009; we look forward to spoil you with our menu. We have 30 parking spaces around the hotel for free and 10 parking spaces in our own underground car park at a charge of CHF 5 per night and per car. However just 2 minutes walk away you will find public parking where a daily charge is applicable. Additional Information; Children age 5 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 6-13 receive a 50pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult. Other child policy information; the hotel offers special prices for children in separate rooms or sharing with one adult. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

	The area offers a rural idyll with many hiking and bicycle trails with a bicycle-shop opposite the hotel. Just 15 minutes by car and you can enjoy the harbor in Rapperswil Zurich with an exclusive atmosphere and historic sights. For those who like to take a trip into the metropolis; Zurich City is only a 30 minute ride away. Approach
	Starting point: Zurich Airport Direction: E From Zurich Airport head south on Vorfahrtsstrasse toward Butzenbueelring and continue until you merge onto the A51. Continue on the toll road until you take exit toward A1-A4-E41. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for Schaffhausen-Sankt Gallen-E41 and merge onto A1-A4-E41. Continue until you take exit 66 to merge onto A53 toward Uster-Wangen-Rapperswil. Continue until you turn left toward Zuerichstrasse and continue straight until you bear slightly right for Bahnhofstrasse. Then continue on Rapperswilerstrasse then Zuerichstrasse until you turn right at Ueberlandstrasse. Continue until the slight right at Duerntnerstrasse. Continue on Edikerstrasse then turn left at Oberduerntnerstrasse where you will see the hotel on the left. Take a train to Zuerich HB and than with S15 to Bubikon then the Bus Nr. 882 to Duernten Post-Stop. Or you can take a train to Zuerich Oerlikon and than with S5 to Bubikon then Bus Nr. 882 to Duernten Post-Stop. Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airport to Duernten.
