We came to Dusseldorf exact on the day of a big storm. And during the nighttime some technical problem with heating&hot water supply appeared. The porblem was solved very shortly so we had no complaints.

While it turned out this hotel is a little off the beaten path, it was very near a major Strassenbahn route that went right to the Hauptbahnhof. The breakfast provided was EXCEPTIONAL. The room was a bit small but servicable for a short stay (anything a only a little over a week), but the breakfast service more than made up for that. Truly excellent. The staff in this family owned hotel were also very nice and helpful.

Don't know if he would do this with an American, but when I presented a credit card the deskclerck refused to except it. Only cash money or a card from the Postbank was accepted. So, for Dutch customers it is wise to have cash money or a bankcard. Must say, we had a room next to the elevator, but we have not had any disturbance by that. Actually, you could have had the idea you were the only guests in the hotel until breakfast. Only then we became aware that there were a lot of other guests.

I was very impressed by the quality of this tiny hotel, with a very friendly atmosphere and very good services. And all that for an incredibly small price!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awsome
