-Very friendly people welcoming you and very willing to help in case of trouble and questions. The room is kept tidy and clean. -A bit noisy at night, sound isolation could have been better -bathroom could have been a bit larger.

This was my second stay in the Monopol. - I stayed there with my partner for a few nights last year. We were both more than pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of our rooms. On both occasions the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely first rate, offering plenty of fresh fruit as well as a traditional 'English' cooked breakfast. I've been very happy with the Monopol and the Kastens, with which it seems to be connected.

The breakfast was fantastic, eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, bread, yoghurt and much more! Staff were lovely and room nice too. Great for price!

Very central, due to decoration workmen everwhere and very dusty

The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. the Altstad (pubs and restraunts) is about 5-10 mins walking distance and the shopping centre (kongislee) is even closer. All in all, this hotel is good value for money and i would recommend this. Brian, Glasgow
