It is absolutely heaven for those wanting to escape the city life. This family owned hotel-restaurant is situated far from the madding crowd, on a hill on the outskirt of the little town Dietenhofen. With numerous birds singing at all times during the day, and the beautiful landscaping, it is truly a spot of solitude and peace. Did I mention the menu? It is fabulous. Don't expect to have internet at your disposal anywhere near Dietenhofen. Don't arrive very late on Sundays, or you'd have to call the manager from off-site. Restaurant is a bit slow in preparing the food, so if you're in a hurry, eat elsewhere. The wait though, is certainly worth it, did I mention that the food is fabulous?
