 A Budget price hotel, right in the center of town. One that you can spend more than a few nights at to have a good sleep. Room condition is better than the common area.
 Elevator shuts down after 11:00 Pm. That is a problem if you are on the third floor. Carpeting in all of the hotel, particularly the common area is pretty much stained all over. |

For anyone looking to stay in Cologne for a day or two then the hotel is ideal. Easy walking or a short cab ride from the rail station and cathedral. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars and coffee shops
Can't really complain about Euro 70 a night though my only suggestion would be the inclusion of a fridge in each room to keep drinks and or foodstuffs in overnight. |

Location, near of cathedral and metro station
The reception does not work during the night. The have a stupid system to give you the keys after 23 PM. You have to cal for a number for someone give you the password to open the key box and pick up yor room key. When I did it an UNPOLITE person hesited to give me this code... Why they do not give this code when the guess make their check in .... or they suppose that you should come back before 23PM.

for its position right in Köln center its really ok!! think i couldnt find anything cheaper and better positioned than this. if you dont expect that much, if you want to see the city more than hanging around in your room, its really ok. staff was friendly and the bed was good and clean.
the carpet has to be renewed seriously soon (as i expected from other descritptions) but the rest of the room seemed to be really clean. the smoke of cigarettes came inside our room under the door, which turned out to be a problem in the night.. we solved it by putting a towel under the door.

Low budget Hotel with excellent facilities right in the centre of Cologne near to all the bars and nightlife and also local attractions right on the door step.
If staying over at the weekend please note that the Hotel will try and get you to park in their covered carpark for €15 per night per car, this is not necessary as parking on the street from 2300 hours on friday until 6am Monday is free!!! They won't tell you that!!! I only knew because I understood German and they thought I was not conversant with the language. |

Hotel staff friendly
Boiler at hotel broke down on friday/saturday. We tried to shower but no hot water available. Eventually phoned reception sunday evening to try to find out the problem. were only then then told of the situation and offered alternative accommodation or small discount. last night so decided not to bother moving. extremely annoyed at lack of customer care regarding this. |
