 Clean hotel in a very convenient location.
 We booked a double room but got 2 single beds pushed together which moved apart in the night. This was very uncomfortable. The TV picture was awful, only 1 channel was watchable due to poor signal.The room was freezing cold because the heating was faulty. When I reported this I was told we would have an electric heater in our room but when we returned to hotel, the window in our room was open and no heater so it was even colder. No tea / coffee making facilities. Shower room was so tiny it was uncomfortable. Lots of noise from nearby railway bridge. Breakfast was 10 euros each so we ate out each day for half the cost. Would not recommend this hotel. |

Really good value! Great location easy walk from the Central Station, just behind the Dom & next to Koln Philharmonic. Lots of shopping nearby as well as places to eat & lovely view of the Rhine.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have been very clean and comfortable both times I have stayed. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. It was very easy to work with my laptop while staying there. The wireless internet connection had a very strong signal and was very fast. The location is incredible; right next to the Cathedral with a very nice view of the Rhine. There are tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants around the hotel. More importantly, there is a parking garage right directly in front of the Hotel! It isn't noisy or anything because the entrance and exit to the Garage is on the opposite side from the Hotel. I would definitely stay here again and again!
aside from the overwhelming number of people in the vicinity of the hotel due to the Christmas Market, there was quite a bit of construction in the area which made it very difficult to drive to the hotel. it isn't the hotel's fault though. |

| It has a very warm atmosphere; the hotel's personeel is particularly friendly and helpful. Many of them are fluent not only in english but in spanish and french. The view of the Rhine and the park is lovely. The hotel is in walking distance of all mayor attracions of the city. Wonderful location and service. |
