Hotel Speech House, a former hunting lodge from the 17^th century, is located in the heart of the Royal Forest of Dean. The surrounding area can be explored by car very easily. All places of interest, such as the village of Symonds Yat or towns like Coleford, Monmouth and Ross on Wye are in the hotel vicinity.

We provide 31 guestrooms, most of which facing the romantic wilderness. 15 rooms are in the main building while the other 16 provide views of the inner courtyard. The adjacent small cottage offers additional apartments.

We will spoil you with culinary delicacies in the Verderer’s Court restaurant, which, together with the bar, is an ideal venue for informal dining, light snacks in between meals, evening dinners or special occasions. All dishes are served fresh to order.
