The downstairs reception rooms were okay, the bedroom was okay. There was a relatively new bathroom but the toilet was not clean. On the way up to the room there were quite steep stairs. The carpets were definitely in need of replacing, or at least a good shampooing. They were threadbare in places and there was not a clean smell in the area, neither in the bedroom. We would not stay in this hotel again and would not recommend it to others.
