Business hours of reception: 24 hours Città della Pieve is situated on a hill, 500 meters above the sea level, in a panoramic position over Valdichiana and the Trasimeno lake, at the border between Umbria and Tuscany. This is a region particularly rich in cultural and historical treasures. As you arrive to Città della Pieve, you will immediately notice a stately building in Neo-Renaissance style, surrounded by a park of tall oaks, pines, palm trees and chestnuts, overlooking a green valley. We provide 24 rooms, 22 of them are situated in the main building and the other 2 in the beautiful extension building. The spacious rooms, decorated in country house style, have comfortable beds with floral bedspreads, a desk and have offer a view of either the garden or the valley. The dark green carpet sound-proofs the rooms. All rooms are equipped with an individual air conditioning system, mini-bar, satellite TV, safe and a direct telephone line with internet connection. On the right side of the lobby, you will find a small American bar and our reception, while the breakfast room is located on the left. The elegant drawing rooms with armchairs and sofas, positioned around the fireplace, invite you for relaxation. The sofas and armchairs are upholstered in luxurious Spanish linen velvet, with floral designs of warm colours – terracotta reds, soft greens, corn yellows, apricot pinks and create a warm atmosphere. The Restaurant Le Sibille, which is also open to the public, offers regional specialities. The Danae Beauty Centre, with its elegant ambience, is situated on the premises of the hotel and offers a new dimension of traditional beauty care as well as a variety of alternative treatments for face and body. In the three beauty parlours there are various treatments at your disposal such as treatments for weight reduction, stone massage, Shiatsu, peeling, lymph drainage, foot-reflex-zone-massage, body wrapping etc. |
