By Car: From London (Eastbound): Exit junction 17 of the M4, keeping in the right hand lane and take 4th exit from roundabout, signposted A429 for Cirencester and Malmesbury. If travelling from Bristol (Westbound), exit at junction 17 and keep in the left hand lane, taking 1st exit,signposted A429. Once on A429, take the first left-hand road off after approximately 100 metres, signposted Stanton Saint Quintin. The hotel is signposted with an official Tourist Board's brown sign. Drive into the village and there you will see the entrance to the hotel on the left-hand side, immediately after the church. There is ample parking By Train: The nearest train station is Chippenham which is 7 miles away. Chippenham has good links with trains to South West and London. From the station it is a 10 minute taxi journey to the hotel. The cost of the taxi hotel will cost approx. PS10. Taxis can be ordered through the hotel or there is a taxi rank outside the train station From Bristol Airport: At the roundabout, take 2nd exit onto North Side Road. At next roundabout take 1st exit onto North Side Road. At next roundabout take 2nd exit onto North Side Road. At next roundabout take 1st exit onto A38. Bear left onto A38, entering Potters Hill and past Bridgwater Road Shell service station. Continue forward onto Bridgwater Road A38, entering Bristol. At roundabout take 3rd exit onto Kings Head Lane (signposted Bishopsworth, Hengrove). Turn right onto Bishopsworth Road (signposted Withywood, Hartcliffe). At mini roundabout turn left onto Whitchurch Road (signposted Cater Business Park). Continue forward onto Whitchurch Lane. At roundabout take 2nd exit onto Hengrove Way (signposted M32, M4, M5). At next roundabout take 2nd exit onto Hengrove Way - A4174 (signposted Ring Road, Bath A4). At next roundabout take 2nd exit onto Callington Road - A4174. At traffic signals turn right onto Bath Road Brislington Hill - A4 (signposted Bath) At Hicks Gate roundabout take 1st exit onto A4174 (signposted Ring Road, M4, M5 North). At Kingsfield roundabout take 2nd exit onto the A4174 (signposted Ring Road, M5 North). At roundabout take 2nd exit onto A4174. At Deanery Road roundabout take 3rd exit onto Deanery Road - A420 (signposted Chippenham). Continue forward onto Deanery Road A420, entering Warmley. Continue forward onto London Road A420, entering Bridgeyate. At mini roundabouts bear right onto London Road - A420 (signposted Chippenham). Continue forward onto Church Road, entering Wick. Continue along this road (up the hill) for approximately 3 miles until you reach Cold Ashton roundabout. Take 1st exit onto A46 (signposted Stroud) and past Shell Pennsylvania filling station. Continue for approximately 3 miles until you reach Tormarton Interchange roundabout (junction 18 of M4). Take 3rd exit to get onto M4 (signposted London) Leave M4 at junction 17, signposted Cirencester, Chippenham and take 1st exit onto A429. Take the first left-hand road off after approximately 100 metres, signposted Stanton Saint Quintin. The hotel is signposted with an official Tourist Board's brown sign. Drive into the village and there you will see the entrance to the hotel on the left-hand side, immediately after the church. Total miles: 33.4. Time 54 minutes. |
