Welcome to our hotel and to Chemnitz, a city older than 800 years. The Günnewig Hotel Chemnitzer Hof was built in 1930 in Bauhaus style by the architect Heinrich Strauner.

We offer 92 rooms ( 145 beds) in various categories. All of them equipped with bathroom, shower, toilet, hair-dryer, mini-bar, safe, radio, fax and modem connection, cable TV, phone and WLAN.

All single and double rooms are first class rooms.

In our hotel you can start a new day with a good breakfast from our copious buffet. The Opera restaurant serves you culinary specialties and international upscale cuisine. In addition we offer you a monthly changing menu and traditional dishes.

What can I say. This Hotel and Staff are fantastic!!! It should get the highest rate a hotel can get. The staff is very professional, helpful and very friendly. Its value for money. The location is perfect. 5 minutes to the trainstation, 10 minutes to the shopping center in town.
