nice and friendly persons at the reception.
1. The rooms are clean but you can hear everything from adjoining rooms incl. hallway. If you have a light sleep you have a serious problem.
2. Shower gel in the room consists of a ridiculous 6 ml (0.2 fl.oz)plastic pack.
3. Breakfast is REALLY expensive. € 19,50 for a limited choice is way to expensive.
4. Food and drink prices in general (buffet-style dinner €27,00 without beverage) are high.
5. The hotel is about 5 km away from Chamonix. So, unless you want to dirve into town, you are a 2captive customer", and hotel management knows this.
6. There is a big construction area in from of the hotel (hihway reconstruction). With rooms towards the back (facing mountains) it's no noise problem, but the exit to the hotel from the road is hard to find in one direction and not existing in the other. It looks like this status might continue for quite a while.){kind=link}
