The hotel was well-run and situated in a lovely area. It was
tastefully decorated; the grounds and pool area were very attractive; the individual room air-conditioning worked exceptionally well. The room, (which included a second attached room in our triple for our daughter) had a lovely large balcony.
Parking was onsite and free. The remote mountain-top town of Caserta Vecchia is a charming small medieval town with a fantastic view of (new) Caserta and surroundings. The hotel value of stay at Hotel Caserta Antica was excellent!
We were not prepared for the remoteness of this mountain-top location and our GPS had difficulty guiding us there from Caserta.
But once we found it, we loved it and would choose a stay in Caserta Vecchia over any hotel in (new) Caserta.
